Next Expedition Announcement!

Stok Kangri Summit
It’s been a while but finally I’ve decided to start posting again on my website. So without further a do my next adventure is going to be to Ladakh in north-west India where I will be attempting to climb Stok Kangri the highest mountain in the Stok Range of the Himalayas at a mind boggling altitude of 6,153 metres (20,187 ft).

I leave in less than two weeks time flying to Istanbul and then onto Delhi before getting a domestic flight up to the Ladakh capital Leh which itself is at an altitude of 3,524 metres (11,562 ft) above sea-level.

I’m training hard for this one having just spent a weekend up in Snowdonia attempting to summit all the Welsh 3000s over a three day period. I bagged 14 out of the 15 required summits but just ran out of time in the end.

I’m also back at The Altitude Centre in London training hard 3 to 4 times a week at high altitude.

So everything is in place and all that remains is to go. Dispatches to follow via my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts when and where ever possible if anyone fancies following along.
