Ski Kit for the Dolomites 2014

Once again – after two aborted seasons – I’m happy to post that finally I’m about to embark on another ski trip to europe, and after hearing so much over the years about this particular mountain range I’m very glad at last to announce that it will be to the spectacular Dolomites in Italy.

Off Skiing!

This is one of my favourite photos taken from just outside our chalet door in the pretty alpine village of Livigno. Life really doesn’t get much better than the full on stoke that’s felt the minute you step out of that chalet door each morning! The knowledge that you are free to ski your heart out all day today and for the next few foreseeable days with nothing else to care or worry about in the world other than your turns.

In an ideal world the snow would be right down to the door but we had no complaints!

A little classic!

It’s when you’re safe at home that you wish you were having an adventure. When you’re having an adventure you wish your were safe at home.” – Alfred North Whitehead

…….absolutely on the money!!!
