“Security is mostly superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger in the long run is no safer than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller
It’s now three whole weeks since I arrived back from my little skiing trip to Italy, and the prangs of boredom are beginning to surface. Searching through quotes online researching for my fourth posting under the ‘Adventurous Quotes’ category I came across this little gem – which – coincidently seems to sum up quite nicely my current state of mind. A little classic!
“It’s when you’re safe at home that you wish you were having an adventure. When you’re having an adventure you wish your were safe at home.” – Alfred North Whitehead
